1. Project Cancellations
SoftMayo LLC understands that business priorities change. If you need to cancel a digital marketing campaign, custom software development, or web design project, the following terms apply:
- Notice Requirement: Clients must provide written notice of cancellation via email to their project manager or to info@softmayo.com.
- Work-in-Progress: Upon receiving a cancellation notice, all work on the project will halt. The client will be invoiced for any work completed up to the date of cancellation that has not yet been billed.
- Deposits: As outlined in our Refund Policy, initial deposits are non-refundable to cover the costs of project onboarding, discovery, and resource allocation.
- Deliverables: Upon full payment of the final cancellation invoice, SoftMayo LLC will turn over all completed code, designs, and assets created up to that point.
2. Recurring Services & Subscriptions
For ongoing monthly or annual services (e.g., SEO retainers, social media management, cloud hosting):
- Notice Period: We require a 30-day written notice prior to your next billing cycle to cancel recurring services without incurring the next cycle's charge.
- Data Handover: Upon cancellation of hosting or managed services, SoftMayo LLC will provide the client with a full backup of their database and files. However, it is the client's responsibility to migrate this data to a new provider. We offer migration assistance as a separate, billable service.
3. Cancellation by SoftMayo LLC
We reserve the right to cancel a project or terminate a service agreement under the following conditions:
- The client fails to pay invoices within the agreed terms.
- The client is unresponsive for more than 30 consecutive days, severely delaying the project timeline.
- The client requests work that violates our Terms & Conditions or acceptable use policies.
In such events, the client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date.
